About GasCo

GasCo Holdings was established by gas industry professionals and investors to identify, secure and support the exploration, development and eventual production of coal seam gas (CSG) / coal bed methane (CBM) assets in Mongolia. GasCo has been active in exploring via its various investments in CBM in Mongolia for a number of years with ongoing success.

GasCo seeks to bring energy solutions to domestic Mongolian energy requirements in the major cities and on mine sites to provide alternative energy solutions outside of thermal coal and diesel currently that remain the country’s current dominant energy source.

GasCo applauds the Mongolian Government’s vision to develop a domestic CBM industry for the benefit of Mongolians, and references the recently published report commissioned by the Mongolian Government and delivered by Asian Development Bank (ADB) setting out a pathway for logistics, infrastructure, CBM potential and generally a technically driven masterplan to implement methane based gas energy solutions for health, reliability and transport benefits for the Mongolian people.
